Ben came to serve at  Southgate Church in October 2008.  He is a native of Wilson, North Carolina.  Ben graduated in May 2008 with a degree in Youth Ministry from Free Will Baptist Bible College.

Ben has a vision to see the youth at Southgate Free Will Baptist Church grow in their relationship with Christ; as well as seeing them grow into leaders in the church and the community.  He is also passionate about reaching the youth in the Downriver area.

When he is not working with the youth group, Ben enjoys playing basketball and tennis, as well as watching sports of all kinds, especially any game involving the Dallas Cowboys and NC State Wolfpack.  Ben also has a passion for music and enjoys playing guitar.
